The DIN number has lifetime validity. With the help of the Direct Identification Number (DIN), the details of the directors are maintained in the database.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Procedure to Obtain DIN<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Step 1: Download the form<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1678 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/companyregistrationonline.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DIN-form.png\" alt=\"DIN form Director Identification Number\" width=\"367\" height=\"530\" srcset=\"https:\/\/companyregistrationonline.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DIN-form-200x289.png 200w, https:\/\/companyregistrationonline.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DIN-form-207x300.png 207w, https:\/\/companyregistrationonline.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DIN-form-400x579.png 400w, https:\/\/companyregistrationonline.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/DIN-form.png 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 367px) 100vw, 367px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The very first step is to download Form DIR-3. The above-mentioned picture shows what the form looks like. Therefore, after downloading the form, add the respective information that is asked for in the downloaded form.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Step 2: Scanned Documents\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Given below are the documents that are required to be scanned and attached to the form. These documents are:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Passport Size Photo<\/li>\n<li>Identity Proof of the Applicant, to be Self\u2013Attested.\n<ul>\n<li>The Income-tax (PAN) is a mandatory requirement for identity proof in the case of Indian nationals.<\/li>\n<li>A passport is a mandatory requirement for identity proof in the case of foreign nationals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Address proofs of Applicant (Self\u2013Attested): Electricity Bill, Passport, Election (Voter Identity) Card, Driving License, Ration Card, Telephone Bill, or Aadhar Card shall be attached. It should be in the name of the applicant only.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The documents that are being submitted should not be older than 2 months from the date of filing of the E-Form in the case of an Indian applicant.<\/p>\n<p>The address proof should not be older than 1 year from the date of filing of the E-Form in case of a foreign applicant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1683 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/companyregistrationonline.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/adhaar-card.png\" alt=\"adhaar card Director Identification Number\" width=\"549\" height=\"310\" srcset=\"https:\/\/companyregistrationonline.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/adhaar-card-200x113.png 200w, https:\/\/companyregistrationonline.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/adhaar-card-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/companyregistrationonline.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/adhaar-card-400x225.png 400w, https:\/\/companyregistrationonline.in\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/adhaar-card.png 560w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 549px) 100vw, 549px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Step 3: Application for Obtaining the DSC\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Digital Signature Certificates<\/strong> are required at the time of submission of the documents in the electronic form to ensure the security and authenticity of the documents furnished by the applicants. It is a new and secure way to access the documents without being in any trouble. <strong>DSC<\/strong>\u00a0is used by the authorized person to sign the documents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">With original supporting documents, the Applicants can directly approach Certifying Authorities (CAs). In this case, a self-attested copy will be sufficient.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Using Aadhar eKYC-based authentication, the DSCs can also be obtained, wherever offered by the CA. The supporting documents are not required in this case.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A certificate\/letter issued by any Bank that contains the DSC applicant\u2019s information, as they are always retained in the Bank database. So, they can be accepted. However, Such a letter\/certificate should be certified by the Bank Manager.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Step 4: Filling Form<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Fill the\u00a0FORM <strong>DIR \u2013 3<\/strong> along with attaching the scanned documents as mentioned in Step 2 above. The director of the company can also sign the form in which the applicant is to be appointed as a director. The DIR form must be digitally signed. The form must also be signed by a professionally practicing Chartered Accountant \/Company Secretary \/Cost Accountant.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong> Step 5: Applicant Registration\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The respective applicant is required to register on an application form on the site of the <strong>MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS<\/strong> by clicking on the&#8221;New User&#8221;. However, the applicant has to fill in all the details about the candidate correctly. To apply the form directly, visit the website.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Step 6: Fees Payment &amp; Uploading Form<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">After filling out the form, the applicant is supposed to upload the form and pay the prescribed fees online.
